Orthodontic Treatment Options

With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Buttram has treated patients of all ages, conditions, lifestyles and smile goals! We bring you personalized family orthodontics in Panama City.

Early Orthodontic Treatment

Little smiles require expert care! Early orthodontic treatment with Buttram Orthodontics can set your child up for a lifetime of confident, healthy smiles.

After your child’s complimentary consultation, we’ll determine whether orthodontic treatment is necessary or would be beneficial! Dr. Buttram never suggests unnecessary treatment.

Teen Orthodontics

The teen years are fundamental for building confidence and strong self-esteem. Orthodontic treatment can help teens love their smile, and empower them to put their best foot forward in life. We provide braces and Invisalign for teens!®

Adult Orthodontics

There’s no age limit for orthodontics! It’s never too late to achieve the smile you’ve always wanted. You have options in esthetic Empower® clear braces and convenient Invisalign® clear aligners to suit your preferences.

Types of Braces

We provide braces for every lifestyle! Choose from traditional metal braces, clear ceramic braces, advanced Empower® self-ligating braces (metal or clear), and Invisalign for all ages.

Retainers

The retention phase is a critical part of your orthodontic treatment! At the end of your treatment, you’ll receive custom retainers. If you love your results and want to maintain your new smile for years to come, it’s essential that you wear your retainer after braces or Invisalign.

Types of Orthodontic Appliances

Some smiles need a little extra help! In cases where the jaws are too narrow to accommodate all teeth, or there is a severe malocclusion (bite misalignment), Dr. Buttram may include an orthodontic appliance in your personalized treatment plan.

Appliances help us achieve incredible results in the shortest amount of time.

Surgical Orthodontics

Once the jaw bones have stabilized and Invisalign or braces would not be a sufficient treatment method on their own, jaw surgery may be necessary. Corrective jaw surgery is performed by an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, and typically completed in a hospital.

If you or your child requires jaw surgery, we’ll guide you through the entire process, from your consultation to the surgery, and through post-surgery treatment.

Experience a stunning new smile

And enjoy the journey along the way.
